The short answer
Yes, BuyUsernames is legit — and the structure of the store is the reason why. This is not a marketplace where anonymous sellers list names they may or may not control. Every username in the catalog is held in our own inventory before it's listed. There is no third-party seller to ghost you, because there is no third party. The people you pay are the people holding the handle.
Proof you can check yourself
Legitimacy isn't a claim, it's a paper trail. Here's ours, all of it public:
- A public sold archive — every completed sale, with dates and prices. Scammers don't keep receipts.
- Fixed, public prices — no "DM for price", no quote that mysteriously rises once you show interest. The price on the listing is the price you pay.
- Live transfers — the username moves to your account step by step while you watch, usually within hours of payment.
- A full money-back guarantee — if a transfer cannot be completed, you're refunded in full, in the same crypto, to an address you control.
- Hosted crypto checkout — payment goes through a hosted invoice with the coin and network you chose. We never DM you a wallet address, ever.
- Proof of control on request — before paying, ask us to demonstrate we hold the exact name you want. We will.
Still unsure? Bring a middleman.
This is the part most stores won't offer, and the strongest proof we can give you: you can run any order through an independent middleman, so your money never touches our hands until the username is sitting on your account.
We'll work with any middleman trusted by the @Trusteds channel on Telegram — the channel where the best middlemen on all of Telegram are vetted and vouched. You pick the middleman yourself from their trusted list; we will never insist on "our own guy" — that's a classic scam pattern, and the whole point is that the middleman answers to you, not to us.
How a middleman deal works, start to finish:
- Message @BuyUsernames on Telegram with the username you want and say you'd like to use a middleman.
- Pick any middleman trusted by @Trusteds and open a group with the three of us.
- You send the payment to the middleman, who holds it in escrow.
- We transfer the username to your account, live.
- You confirm the name is yours; the middleman releases the funds to us. Done.
The listing price stays exactly the same — we add nothing for middleman deals. The middleman's own fee is agreed upfront between you and them.
How to spot impersonators
The store exists in exactly two places: buyusernames.at and @BuyUsernames on Telegram. Everything else is an impersonator, and impersonators follow a script:
- They DM you first. We never do — support means you message us, not the other way around.
- They offer a "discount" for paying a wallet address directly. Payment happens only through the checkout on this site, or through a middleman you chose.
- They use a lookalike handle or domain — an extra underscore, a swapped letter. Check the exact spelling, then check it again.
- They rush you. A real store with held inventory has no reason to pressure you — the name isn't going anywhere.
When in doubt, open t.me/BuyUsernames from this page — not from a search, not from a forwarded message — and ask.
Your 60-second verification checklist
- Browse the sold archive — real history, real prices.
- Read the guarantee and how transfers work.
- Message @BuyUsernames and ask us to prove control of the name you want.
- For any order, big or small: pick a middleman from @Trusteds and let them hold the funds.
That's every angle covered. Skeptics make our favorite customers — they're the ones who leave knowing exactly why the store is safe.
